UniKL defeated Bukit Jalil Sports School 2-1 in the second semi final and will face BPSS Thunderbolt in the final of the MHF-Milo-NSC Junior Hockey League on Sunday.
UniKL took the lead in the 10th minute via Mohd Syamim Mohd Yusof who was the first to react in a goalmouth melee to put the ball in.
BJSS were shocked and started putting together several moves and were awarded a penalty corner in the 20th minute which Faridzul Afiq Mohamad duly converted to level the scores.
UniKL took the lead once again in the 44th minute when Mohd Zulhairi Hashim picked up a rebound from a penalty corner attempt by Mohamad Sabri to cooly slot home to make the score 2-1 in favour of UniKL.
Syamim could have sealed it for UniKL but missed a penalty stroke in the 56th minute.
